My name is Tab, my husband, kids, dog, and I live on a little less than three acres of land. I like to pretend it is a farm. We have a grand garden, and spend most of our time playing outside.
There was a time in my life when both my circumstances and my choices led me down an unhealthy road. My journey to health was difficult, but faith in God and a few supportive people led me home again.
Along the way one thing became clear; supportive, loving and encouraging people were imperative in my recovery.
Their support propelled me on a journey of self care, self awareness, self love, and mindfulness. It taught me that in order to love and encourage others well, I must first love and care for myself.
I hope that as you peek inside my window you find a little ray of encouragment.
It puts a wedge between you and God. It takes your thoughts from trusting in what God is and who He is to what you are and who you are. It traps you in a run around self focused tail chase that condemns you as you try and figure it out.
